You may now have moved international, or diversified your career, however, this position is worth serious consideration. Since it is felt that eventually, this position will candidate should be strong enough to take over the management of the Kitchen in the absense of the Executive Chef with potential to move to exciting international destinations as the group develops.
We are seeking an exceptional proven Ex Sous Chef who has the personality and temperament to be respected by your large team of over 20 chefs and cleaners. Catering for over 300 guests a day, this is a popular and Busy hotel with a great reputation for uncomplicated quality food without the fuss or need for michelin starsm, athough the potential to develop these in the future, might be a possibility. The Executive Sous chef is required to support the management team instill discipline, respect and good order to ensure continuity of quality
Ultimately, the skills and experience we seek would be God like qualities on the Pas s, someone who takes control and delivers time and time again.
Well organised, likeable, but respected, Executive Sous, we seek someone to inspire and motivate their team but equally to teach, guide and mentor a young team hungry to learn new skills.
Naturally other qualities will include day to day management, firm control of your food cost and staff costs, health and safety and food hygience practices you will lead in every field and allow the excecutive Chef to manage other attributes of the business.
With service Standards already having agreed and none negotiable, the ideal candidate will add the balance to the team to ensure our clients hotel restaurants success continues for some time to come.
Our client is NOT a michelin star Restaurant, they seek to offer fantastic food with a exceptional attention to every service detail.
Ideally you will have a warm personality and have been exposed to the international Mark et. You will probably already be known by the Fashionable restaurant goers. If you have great communication skills, great diplomatic skills and if you are an ambassador for our Industry, this role could potentially be a position for life.
