Our client has asked us seek an exceptional and proven Director of Sales and marketing for a new luxury 40 bedroom & 60 residence suite property which is a new build 1.5 hours outside of Saigon in Vietnam. The opening date is in the first half of 2010 and we seek recruit a candidate for January 2009

this position will direct the total sales resources within the company. Specifically the RSO (including GSA) organization as well as optimizing the sales resources within the hotels including processes, tools, education and performance management to maximize the overall revenues of the company's properties. This will include functional liaison with property based Sales and Marketing directors who report directly to their GM

ll be responsible for the creation of the pre-opening Sales and Marketing budget, plan and resources as required

To initiate and foster a commercial Sales Culture throughout the company. and to direct and execute Sales Planning and development across the hotel to ensure all sales resources are highly focused, accountable and working to a Strategic Sales Management Strategy

Provide marketing research activities including situation analyses, market studies, feasibility studies, competitive analyses using both primary and secondary market research to benchmark the company's position, progress and success in achieving established service and performance targets.

Maintain accurate and comprehensive competitive intelligence by developing cultivating good relationships with senior executives, industry contacts and key customers.

 

Job Requirements:

Ideally Far East asian experience is preferred and ideally you will have proven experience in luxury resorts
