We have been asked to find an exceptional Head Butler to lead a young raw team of local Butlers for an innovative new property to open Late 2008. Ideally we seek to recruit the right candidate for a June appointment. This luxurious hotel consists of 22 floors, which house 209 rooms and ONLY 20 suites, will offer 24-hour butler service and in-room dining as well as 24-hour concierge, laundry and valet services

The Hotel and Spa will be truly unique. the guest experience at the hotel promises to reach out to the great number of guests that want a different, authentic but quintessentially contemporary and luxurious experience during their stay in Shanghai , offering a mix that gives a distinct sense of understated elegance, tastefully combining modern urban spaces with a resort influence. The result is a uniquely new spatial and guest experience.

As head Butler you will be part of the senior Management team tasked with intervieing, recruiting, training a young local team to understand and follow world International standards so that every guests expectations and needs are taken care of and each guest is treated like royalty.

The Hotel & Spa is centrally located between the very heart of Shanghai 's business, shopping, sightseeing and entertainment district. The hotel, which looks over the greenery of JinAn Park and conveniently adjacent to a new multi-use development. The head Butlers main role will be to safeguard exclusivity, privacy and tranquility,

The guestrooms, which range from 50sqm to 150 sqm in size, will also feature complimentary wireless broadband internet access, and have bathtubs that offer uninterrupted and dramatic views across JingAn Park and the skyline of Shanghai . Level 22 houses “The Club”, the hotel's exclusive executive lounge of 50 seats, where Club Floor guests will be offered an exclusive space for breakfast, refreshments throughout the day, to meet or simply a refuge of relaxation and tranquility.

On Offer : A two year contract, Salary $48K US dollars, single accommodation & Phone allowance, 12 days Annual leave, chinese public holidays, health and medical company insurance

Requirements: A senior Head Butler who can lead from the front, demonstrate very strong food and beverage standards, excellent man management & people skills and ideally experience leading and training hotels.
