Located in the pristine Caribbean Islands of St Lucia , our hotel client runs a large newly refurbished luxury resort and has an outstanding independent Gourmet Restaurant regarded as one of St. Lucia 's finest dining establishments. The Restaurant is located adjacent to the Resort.

We seeks an exceptional Restaurant Chef able to operate the business independently the goal to have the Restaurant as the number 1 restaurant destination in the islands.

(It should be said that although the resort is all inclusive, meals within this restaurant are not included in the all-inclusive programme).

The restaurant is open for 6 days a week dinner service unless a function booked for the day. We would prefer a single candidate as it would allow more flexibility for living arrangements.

The Chef candidate should have excellent international experience idealy having worked at difficult locations as it is not always easy to get produce and we want someone who understands problems and can work around them. We are looking for a Great restaurant Chef (not really a hotel chef), as we seek someone able to set up all your own S.O.P's and be independent from this boutique hotel.

As Restaurant chef you will have an great Culinary ability and also have unique people skills to develop an outstanding team of chefs and knowledgeable restaurant staff

Job Requirements:

• Proven Resort experience of a similar calibre
• 5 years senior Kitchen Management in similar luxury restaurants of the world
• effective leadership, calm, confident and positive man management
  Outstanding training skills to develop and maintain 5* international standards
• Inspirational & Motivational with exceptional communication skills
• Sales orientated, cost effective, profit resulted
• Not afraid of hard work since Long hours, hard work, strong motivation skills, but excellent rewards, you will have done this before and ready for an even bigger challenge
