We are seeking a Spanish - Mediterranean Chef sought for this quality Boutique Resort in Antigua seeking experienced, innovative Chef de Cuisine for luxury resort in Antigua.

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and ensures that all quality, cost and safety standards are met or exceeded. The position requires an individual who is creative, familiar with current culinary trends/methods, has been classically trained and has experience in Catalan Cuisine.

The Chef de Cuisine is also responsible for the daily and seasons menus, staff management, training and production planning. Candidate will possess a luxury 5 star hotel background and a minimum of 3 years experience as an Chef de Cuisine.

We are seeking a Catalan specialist with an excellent knowledge of Spanish - Mediterranean Cuisine and the chef can be American or European Trained Mediterannean Chef , with knowledge of Spanish, French, Italian, greek, turkish and north African infuences

This role is for one Quality Restaurant, mastering 80 guests per evening possible 50/60 per night, to lead and train a small team and ensure the highest standards of presention, quality of food, health and safety and hygience are maintained at all times

Previous resort experience would be advantageous., SIngle status might be beneficial too

Minimum 5 years overall culinary experience

At least 3 years in an Chef's position in a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel or restaurant

Formal culinary training is preferred or an equivalent combination or education and work-related experience

Catalan cuisine expert

Strong team leadership

Perform job functions with attention to detail; prioritize, organize and follow-up

Understand guest's service needs

Demonstrated experience in leading and developing people

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated knowledge of hospitality systems and software

Familiarity with operating inventory control procedures
