We are seeking an all round F&B specialist who would be hands on and highly passionate about Food and Beverage service. Someone who has modern and contemporary ideas about food service but perhaps old fashioned style of hosting, who will be highly visible and not desk bound.
We seek a proven manager who is an all-rounder,, Firm and Fair team player (strong personality), Committed, Loyal and Honest, an eye for detail in service and property/environment (front and back of house), Strong communicator skills and a peoples person (corporate bodies, NGO, government, local communities, unions and so on). Essential able to train and develop an enthusiastic team but also focus on a drive for sales and excellent control of costs.
Specification
Management: F&B team of 70 Staff.
Location : British Guyana, South America
Hotel: 130 rooms,
F&B Operation: 3 restaurants and banquet for up to 500 persons.
Note: hotel will be re branded to independent hotel in December
Required: ASAP / before 15th December 2008
Package
Salary is NET $ 3500.- USD/month , Yearly airline ticket, Bonus scheme
All meals, beverages, laundry free , 5 day's work week. 25 day's annual leave , Local medical coverage. Either party is required to give one (1) month's notice .
Term of contract : 1 year with possibility of renewal
Accommodation: It is a live in position
Requirements
Single, aged, 30-45,
Great command of English and effective communication skills
Proven Resort Experience ideally Caribbean
Proven Leadership & great people skills
All round F&B knowledge & passionate
