HOTEL BUTLER DEPARTMENT HEAD

One of Saudi's leading hotels offering elegance, luxury and unparalleled personal service. Each room has Butler Service and spectacular views over the Red Sea .

We require a Department Head to oversee our Butler Team, the ideal candidate should already have experience as a Head Butler / Butler Manager, however we could consider a very strong Asst Head Butler in a larger operation or Outlet Manager, Room Service Manager, AFOM or FOM with the right leadership skills.

The candidate will be accustomed to the GCC and dealing with Royals, Govt Officials and Dignitaries. Reporting to the Hotel Manager you will be responsible to oversee a team of 26 professionals ensuring that standards are adhered to and outstanding service consistently delivered. You will have impeccable grooming/ image standards and an ability to interact at all levels of society.

You will have the ability to lead by example and motivate a diverse team. Ideally you will be an Arab with excellent levels of English (both verbal and written) however other nationalities with working experience in the Gulf and the ability to speak Arabic fluently will be considered.

Due to visa restrictions only candidates from Saudi Arabia , lebanon Syria or Morocco can be considered or Arab Nationals with citizenship/passport in US, UK , France, Germany , Austria or Australia . This is a single status position and is ideal for candidates wishing to further develop their career in Rooms Division, next move could be Asst Division

The successful candidate must be able to use his own initiative and must have a flexible approach particularly to long hours, they must be able to manage the highest standards but within a given budget, we are therefore seeking someone very hands on, not afraid of work and someone professional with excellent people skills.

Our candidate will have a distinctive advantage if they have a strong Knowledge of the Italian language

• Strong Knowledge of Food service,
• Running a hotel department
• Some Administration
• Able to set up and keep Inventories
• The art of packing
• Laundry and the care of clothes
• Excellent people skills and ability to manage on a day to day basis
• Strong organisational skills
• Maximum confidentiality
