Italian Speaking Butler
High Profile Italian Family, Chelsea, London

We have been asked to find a Butler for a sophisticated & high profile Italian family to assist with their new home in Chelsea (required to be ready for March 2009). The household staffing will comprise of a Butler , driver and a house-keeper.

The successful candidate must be able to use his own initiative and must have a flexible approach particularly to long hours, they must be able to manage the household to the highest standards but within a given budget, we are therefore seeking someone very hands on, not afraid of work and someone professional with excellent people skills.

Some knowledge of finance and budgeting would be required. Some travel will be required particularly during the summer months when our clients are not in the UK , normally travelling the world.

We are looking for a European passport holder, ideally Italian , French or Spanish but happy to look at any other nationality which does not require a Visa into Europe .

Our candidate will have a distinctive advantage if they have a strong Knowledge of the Italian language

• Strong Knowledge of Food service,
• Running a household
• Some Household Administration
• Able to set up and keep Inventories
• Knowledge of London and London shops
• London & occasional international Purchasing,
• The art of packing
• Laundry and the care of clothes
• Excellent people skills and ability to manage on a day to day basis
• Strong organisational skills
• Maximum confidentiality

Summary : Someone who can be attentive with clothes, table service, silverware etc. and helps out with some cleaning, silver polish, etc.   You must be flexible not afraid of getting your hands dirty with duties that may not be within the normal range of butlers, a young  one who wants to gain more experience or has just qualified is more what we are looking for. 

Accommodation will be provided within the house, with private room, bathroom and  private kitchen area, Live in is the preferred option but happy to consider if they have own accommodation. 

The family has a dog / currently no children.
