Our World Class Boutique resort Group, consists of a collection of exceptional Island resorts and luxury villas and spas, seeking a highly proficient, likeminded Island Manager. Your skills must be hands on operationally based, able to work with Rooms and Food & Beverage and all aspects of guest service. You mst be a proven operator with an excellent resort background and track record.
This position will report directly to the General Manager and oversee and work closely with our onsite operations, business development, finance and human resources teams.
In the absence of the General Manager, the Island Manager is in charge of the entire resort. Playing a pivotal role, the Island Manager will ensure that the resort continues to deliver the ‘dream' that it represents by providing outstanding service to all our guests, whilst maximizing the returns for all stakeholders.
We seek a Island Manager who will provide leadership and strategic management to the team to drive future development.
You will maximize resort revenues whilst ensuring that the guest service you provide is aligned with the vision of The Resort Group.
You will motivate and mentor your team, and support and guide them in resort operations and development.
You will identify growth potential and nurture it by providing diverse training to the team.
You will empower your team to create an environment which is guest-driven and ensure that the vision of The Resort Group inspires each team member to Make A Difference.
You will experience in luxury hotels and have worked in resort environments in management roles.
You are qualified and have strong customer focus and people skillscombined with a solid all round understanding of luxury resort operations.
You are a leader and possess a strong and established track record in developing and shaping relationships with team members to result in increased productivity of the team and thus providing an outstanding service to the guests.
The General Manager seeks to work with a Resort Manager who thrives on autonomy. You will be given the freedom to Make A Difference, and you will be expected to achieve set objectives and participate in the management and development of one of the world's most unique resort.
You have extensive experience in luxury resort operations
You are a leader, a talented and focused professional who can make an impact, whilst managing a multinational team
You have highly developed communication and relationship building skills
You have energy, you are driven and have determination to achieve set goals
Experience in Business Development is an advantage
