Our client is an exciting new FIVE STAR luxury Hotel Group about to open a great number of hotels in the Middle East and probably possible ventures in Asia and Europe .
Their hotel operations will be very impressive 5* deluxe properties, offering extensive exciting fine dining F&B concepts as well as additional state of the art large volume conference and banqueting facilities, luxury Butler service on its executive floor, as well as innovative refreshing service in the centre of these modern hotels.
The hotel will offer superb facilities whilst the hotel seeks a proven five star operator to lead a Sales team, to instigate appropriate sales and skills to ensure maximum exposure and maximum sales.
We have been asked to seek an Director of Sales for one of their first operations, who has related proven experience in the Gulf region with a strong background in large quality 5* hotel properties.
The position will report directly into the General Manager. .
The ideal candidate will have high commercial awareness to oversee the hotel's growth and lead through the development of strategic models, budgets, forecasting and financial reviews to allow the hotel to meet its targets, whilst supporting business development across the company.
Ideally we are seeking a Sales Director who can assume the Group responsibilities to be based Doha at one of the groups resorts. Potentially the candidate could have a partner & family, but could also be single.
We are looking for someone who has the experience to assist develop the market sectors for these new hotel openings, additionally strong in putting new five star properties on the map, assisting develop new customer markets who can help fill the hotel to maximum yield whilst also generating the right image and branding to allow the media plan to target the correct PR and target groups.
We are seeking someone who could be totally comitted for a 2-3 year period or more, to help build and structure the sales objectives over the next few years. The ideal candidate would be sophisticated enough to be able to converse at many levels whilst polished communication & presentation skills will be necessary.
The role will demand someone very hard working, someone who has some good opening experience to help each resort settle down and grow. We seek someone realistic, someone who is flexible to work with a young and dynamic team, who can oversee any labour issues
Successful candidates will have the following profile:
Pre-opening experience in the Middle East
Exceptional communications skills, able to converse effectively with clients, owners & management team;
Sound understanding of local culture and people;
A career focussed in 5* properties with a minimum of 5 years in the Middle East
Fluent English (both written and spoken);
Ultimately we are looking to find a dynamic person who is willing to commit to daily operations and offer a leadership role, someone who is from a background in similar luxury large volume operations, service lead, high on standards but also with exceptional BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT and is profit orientated.

The work will be based in Doha and will be offered as a minimum 2 year contract, but it is hopeed that the right candidate will be long stayer
