Our client is opening an exciting new FIVE STAR luxury Hotel in the Middle East and will later be opening further properties in Asia and Europe .

Their hotel operations will be very impressive 5* deluxe properties, offering extensive exciting fine dining F&B concepts as well as additional state of the art large volume conference and banqueting facilities, luxury Butler service on its executive floor, as well as innovative refreshing service in the centre of these modern hotels.

Each hotel will offer superb facilities and therefore they seek proven five star operators to lead appropriate teams to ensure exceptional standards of operation are implemented through a fully trained team.

We have been asked to seek A Resident Manager for one of their first operations, who has related proven experience in the Gulf region with a strong background in large quality 5* hotel properties.

The position will report directly into the General Manager. .

The ideal candidate will have high commercial awareness to oversee the hotel's growth and will be able to lead an operational team through its growth.

Able to assume responsibilities as required and based in Doha at one of the groups resorts.

Potentially the candidate could have a partner & family, but could also be single.

We are looking for someone who has the experience to assist develop the hotel into an industry leader and to potential develop into GM in good time.

Ideally you will also have new hotel openings experience and be strong in putting new five star properties on the map, assisting develop new customer loyalty and ensuring the hotel achieves the right image to fullfil the right guest expectations.

We are seeking someone who could be totally comitted for a 2-3 year period or more, to help build and structure the objectives over the next few years. The ideal candidate would be sophisticated enough to be able to converse at many levels whilst polished communication & presentation skills will always be necessary.

The role will demand someone very hard working, someone who has some good opening experience to help each resort settle down and grow. We seek someone realistic, someone who is flexible to work with a young and dynamic team, who can oversee any labour issues

Successful candidates will have the following profile:

•  Pre-opening experience in the Middle East

•  Exceptional communications skills, able to converse effectively with clients, owners & management team;

•  Sound understanding of local culture and people;

•  A career focussed in 5* properties with a minimum of 5 years in the Middle East

•  Fluent English (both written and spoken);

Ultimately we are looking to find a dynamic person who is willing to commit to daily operations and offer a leadership role, someone who is from a background in similar luxury large volume operations, service lead, high on standards but also with exceptional BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT and is profit orientated.

The ability to take on projects & deliver successful outcomes being flexible, adaptable in changing environments;

Proven leadership & management skills; Individual proven track record in creating commercial successes;

Relevant qualifications & memberships of recognized professional accounting bodies

Ability to think outside the box & develop innovative solutions;

Highly committed and results oriented;

Highly effective skills in communication, presentation and relationship building on many levels;

Polished training and development skills

On offer competitive negotiable salary and expatriate package with a performance bonus, housing, medical insurance, free flights home. 4 weeks holiday & living allowance.

The work will be based in Doha and will be offered as a minimum 2 year contract, but it is hopeed that the right candidate will be long stayer
