CHEFS CV'S
Many chef applicants forget what Clients are looking for;-
Very few chefs, mention their culinary style and many fail to mention their management style.
We have hundreds of applicants whose CVs are so long, that its impossible to determine like for like candidates who match our clients requirements.
Chef CVs should try to be brief and concise. CVs should always detailed
Unfortunately, so many chefs list their endless qualfications or write a long job description style CV, or write endless acheivements or list the styles of their restaurants in so much detail, that a client often is overwhelmed and therefore, goes back to CVs from candidates who have simple presentation.
Chefs;- please describe ;-
* Your culinary strengths
* Your main styles of cooking
* How many operations you run
* How big your team
* Your main achievements
Summary of CV expectations;
So many applications do not include simple basic information;-
3-4 pages max.
A summary or profile of skills, & why you are applying?
Bio data ( are you married, single, nationality, date of birth).
Each job in cronological date order ( your last job should be first).
Education - Mentioned last, its the least relevant.
Reponsibilities per job
This should be summarised and kept brief.
How many concepts, what style & concept the operation is.
Senior management applications require additional information :-
How many departments in each job are you managing?
How many staff are you managing?
