SALES AND COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

DUBAI - SALARY NEGOTIBLE



Our client is an award winning resorts company where each project is strategised and implemented to enthral guests, generate media buzz, captivate the imagination of the public and bring unprecedented returns to investors. Rapidly expanding and seeking an exceptional, like minded candidate for the role of Director of Sales. This commercial-savy candidate will be responsible for the achievement of the overall revenue targets and will report to the Managing Director.

The selected candidate will join an energetic team and will work with resort general managers and on site business development teams ensuring that the sales figures are in line with that of the company’s objectives and will oversee all sales efforts of the teams including and not limited to revenue management, tour operator and travel agent accounts, partnerships with industry organizations, businesses and consumer groups and accounts receivable management.

Your background should reflect extensive experience in resort sales. You will need to be commercially astute and be results orientated and have a proven track record in revenue management and development of outstanding relationships with key luxury tour operators, businesses and other industry associations.

You must possess exceptional communication skills, confident presentation skills and highly developed interpersonal skills, to aid in building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders.

You will be given the freedom to make a difference, and you will be expected to achieve set objectives and generate sales for some of the world’s most unique resorts. You will rise to challenges, be entrepreneurial, articulate and be an ideal professional who will focus on driving the sales of the resort collection in its entirety.

An individual with a proven track record in creating commercial success.
You have an in-depth understanding of sales.
You can develop revenue and expenses budgets for individual business units and be responsible for its achievement.
You devise business analysis tools to ensure that onsite sales teams are analyzing their business practices and generating maximum returns whilst controlling the expenses.
You negotiate contracts that results in maximum benefits for your stakeholders.
Highly committed and results oriented.
Highly effective skills in communication, presentation and relationship building on many levels.
Ability to guide and oversee many sales teams that are remotely located.
