PASTRY CHEF

DUBAI - $43k, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Our client, a leading luxury hotel group based through out the Middle East, is looking to recruit a “hands on” SENIOR PASTRY CHEF to lead and deputise in the absence of the Executive Chef in one of their leading operations in the Middle East.

The candidate must have European experienced, experience in running large kitchens (150+ chefs) and have PREVIOUS experience in the Middle East running teams with multi national backgrounds. The successful candidate will be an excellent leader able to carry out hands on training with exceptional leadership and development abilities as well as possessing computer skills and is HACCP trained.

• To support the Executive Chef in the daily operation and work.
• To take full responsibilities of the Pastry and Bakery Kitchen.
• To work with the Executive chef on Food Production, Promotion and Quality improvement.
• To ensure high standards of hygiene in the Pastry.
• To communicate to Executive Chef in all relevant & important matters.
• To create high quality and creative pastry products to satisfy the customer.
• To provide hands on training to the direct staff whenever necessary.
• To control the food stock and cost.
• Responsible for a team of Chef de Partie, Demi Chef, Commis I, II and III
• Promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.
• Promoting & ensuring good inter-departmental relations.
• Creating positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
• Demonstrating a high level of commitment.
