A wonderful new opportunity has recently become available for a Maitre d'homme , working for a professional British couple. Applicant/s MUST speak fluent French and English, be non-smoking, and very ‘doggie friendly'.

This person must be able to hit the ground running and be able to settle immediately. There are no children in the household, but the ‘family' includes several small dogs which require pampering and frequent cleaning up after. The client has incredible high expectations will expect a professional to cope with frequent requests for professionalism. Someone tolerant and flexible should be great at this position.

The client comes from a financial background and has homes all over the world travels between them all and therefore your ability to source excellent staff locally as well as confirm security checks will be necessary as well as a high level of ability to keep your self busy and prepared for when ever the client or their guests reside.

A very high standard of sophistication will be required for this exceptional position. The residence is nearing the end of a major renovation and is an important and sizeable property.

The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of running the home - capable of serving at table, both informally and occasionally formally, employing and managing household staff and casual labour as required. Occasional light traveling will be required, possible to assist in other households when major entertaining is required.

Duties will include security, overseeing deliveries, and dealing with contractors for ‘snagging issues'. Occasional driving will also be required. Cooks and cleaners will report into this position and therefore, a good understanding of cleaning, cleanliness and high standards will be expected, not just in the household, but in every facet of her home, whether that be in the cars, the gardens, or grounds.. Inventories, organizing, cleaning and preparation, will be expected. Training skills may also be necessary.

A separate fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment and use of a car are offered along with a salary by negotiation.  More details upon request
