Job overview:
We are looking for a chef de cusine to be in charge of the Kitchen overseeing several outlets, but with NO BANQUETING, for one of Saudi Arabia;s award winning resorts, They have an all day International restaurant, an outdoor dining BBQ style concept, open (7 days dinner only), A fine dining ala carte Restaurant (7 days for Breakfast & Lunch), there is also an italian restaurant, 24 hour room service for 187 rooms and an all day lounge offerng pastries and snacks.
Reporting to the Executive Chef and liaising with the Hotel Manager and F&B Manager for daily issues as well as the group Executive Pastry Chef re all Pastry and Bakery issues.
As a chef you will be responsible for menu writing, stock control, wastage and staff training
And be a European or Australian national experienced in western Cuisine and having worked in 4 / 5 star hotels or resorts, ideally ala carte to a good standard.
You must be experience in Buffet work and you should have worked in the Middle East (preferable) with a multi racial brigade. You must be up to date with all current trends and be able to train your team and follow up on standards, Able to lead a brigade of 18 chefs you need to be aged between 30 to 38 years of age and be single preferable.
We are seeking a Senior Sous chef or up and coming Head chef and have an outgoing personality
Package
On offer is a Salary up to $2800.- depending on experience with a 2 year contract, Single Status, Holidays 30
Flight X 1 a year, and good single accommodation will be provided with a house account.
