Our client is a luxury resort group based in Asia and the Maldives . They are looking at expanding their innovative approach into Fractional Ownership of Luxury Yachts, providing yet another experience for their discerning guests who will be able to take maximum advantage of this new venture by allowing guests to pay only for the ‘fraction' of their jointly owned dream yacht. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer , your role will be to create, develop and operate the Group Yachts of Fractional Ownership overseeing all facets of the division including purchasing, fractional ownership, yacht management services, technical issues, marketing, insurance, legal and logistics support.
The idea would be to launch the concept firstly in the Maldives and the Seychelles , where you will offer yacht ownership for their client-base in a practical and economical approach whereby they pay only for their actual usage.
Your experience will be to build the division from start up to ensure that Resort Yachts are launched effectively
to become one of the leading players in this field, You will lead the way to establishing the services surrounding this operation such as crew service, accounting, operations, insurance, marketing and sales, refit and maintenance. You may also be required to be involved in drafting the intial designs to the final interior touches and delivery.
Your background should reflect extensive knowledge and experience in marina operations, yachting infrastructure, understanding of the luxury market and the clientele associated with it in this fast expanding sector.
You should be thorough with the diverse needs of a boat owner, the technical complexity of the yachts, its refit and maintenance management and the rules and regulations needed for their safe commercial operations. You will need to be financially astute and be result-orientated and have a proven track record. You should be familiar with the marketing involved selling fractional ownership of boats from print advertising, to boat shows.
You must be an excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills to aid in building relationships with developers, owners, brokers, local authorities and other key stakeholders.
You are highly motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic individual with excellent managerial, administrative and
organizational skills. You have the ability to work on your own initiative and you manage your time effectively.
