We are seeking a SOUS Chef who is hands on, for this 70 Suite luxury resort in the Caribbean . This is a lovely role for an outstanding boutique resort and will suit someone who wants to make a name for themselves. You must have Fine dining background and some pastry & maybe also Caribbean experience. You must have a proven track record and be a great trainer, ideally with resorts experience able to manage a team of twenty.
Must be able to start by November 15th 2006. Ideally you will be a single candidate, although exceptions have been made in the past.
They must be costing orientated, customer facing, able to check buffets lines, Heath and safety conscious and creative. Ideally we want someone to come in very fast and who is dedicated.
With two restaurants (Fine dining) and one more informal, we seek someone with a great flair for cooking and creating, who can teach and guide their team to perform exact standards. They are no functions as such and breakfast done in buffet style.
The position is open to single or partnered candidates and is worth a Net salary of $ 30/35K , medical, bonus, accommodation allowance and other ex pat benefits. The Current chef has handed in his resignation so this position is required as quickly as possible.
