We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef (Expatriate) for this International 5 star mountain resort hotel which is also part of a group.
With 131 rooms and 130 chalets, the resort has 11 exciting F&B concepts as well as banqueting and the hotel is the only ski resort in the Middle East and in summer a get away for Beirut residents, Gulf nationals and Lebanese expatriates.
The ideal candidate should be between 30 to 37 years old preferably single or married with maximum 1 child (young)
Flexibility and adaptability due to seasonality and change of business climate in a 10 different themed outlets lwith resort experience.
High level of atmosphere (ski season with high volume a la carte – wedding season)
knowledge of various types of cuisines: Italian, French, Mexican and all day dining, Asian exposure is a plus
High level of creativity and innovation to launch new menus, themed buffets & coffee breaks, decoration and layout of buffets, food presentation and promotional activities
Training capabilities, good communicator & team motivator
Cost conscious in order to assure a steady food cost year around
Computer literate
Candidate will be rewarded with a basic salary between $ 3,000 to $ 3,500 depending on experience and full expatriate benefits if the candidate is not Lebanese
