We have been asked to search for a Dog loving head Butler for The agent of our Client who will eventually interview applicants in London. The following are the position specs:
We are seeking a High profile Executive and Companion with no children
This position requires travel between London and Los Angeles. The candidate must be willing to work with an energetic Fox Terrier who travels with the couple, as the care of the dog is an important part of this position.
The Candidate must be an immaculately presented gentleman.
The Candidate must be a manager as well as a team player as liaising with housekeeper, driver, business manager, and personal assistants is necessary.
The Candidate must be a dog lover.
Responsibilities will include:
Supervising housekeeper and assisting with heavy cleaning
Grocery shopping and supervision of repairmen, deliverymen, etc… to ensure that houses are in perfect working order.
Arranging and maintaining floral arrangements in house
Care of wardrobe and shoes
Light cooking 2 nights per week
Supervision of cook and staffing for small dinners at home for approximately 6 to 10 people 2 to 3 times per month
Drinks at home 2 to 3 times per week
Making and organizing travel arrangements
Care of automobiles and occasional driving duties in Los Angeles. (Full time driver is on staff in London)
The Candidate must be extremely flexible and self motivated
The Candidate should understand that confidentiality is paramount
The Candidate will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement and submit to a background check.
While employers expect a high degree of service and perfection in their homes they also enjoy relatively unobtrusive service and prefer a fairly simple structure in their domestic staffing. This is a job for an excellent manager, but one who enjoys hands on duties as this is not a job where there will be an enormous staff to supervise.
Job is often 6 days per week and candidate would receive 3 weeks vacation per year.
There is a good size butler’s flat (main room, bath, kitchen, and private entry) on the lower ground floor. In Bel Air, there is a small but well equipped Butler’s flat but the candidate could also live out at candidate’s own expense and stay in the house as needed to care for dog when employers are away. In Santa Fe, once completed, will contain accommodations for butler.
The successful candidate MUST HAVE the necessary visa's to work both in the UK and USA. Without these, I am afriad your application can not be considered.
Compensation: approximately $100,000 a year
