ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

CARIBBEAN - SALARY NEGOTIABLE

Our client is seeking an Assistant General Manager with Rooms Division Management experience for this Boutique Resort in the Caribbean , offering luxury retreats: resorts, spas and residences.

Reporting directly into the General Manager this role will work very closely with the operations team.

Situated on this pristine island resort, the resort offers no more than 50 suites and fuses contemporary design with traditional Caribbean style.

The appointed person will play a pivotal role as the EAM will ensure that our client continues as a market leader in an increasingly competitive field.

This position is responsible for overseaing the efficient and effective running of the Rooms Division (Front office and Housekeeping) development, Transport, F&B, Kitchen / stewarding, Engineering and IT and overseeing all operations teams, working closely with Human Resources, Business development and the Finance teams whilst delivering the best service to our guests.

This position will oversee the overall daily Operations of the resort, including product development and
achieving budget, internal and implementing and refining operational systems & standards.

Ideally your background will be from similar luxury Hotels and you will have appropriate qualification and have significant experience within Resort environment.

Importantly, we are looking for someone with very strong people skills, polite, professional and friendly, but with  a strong customer focus with experience in developing and shaping complex long term relationship with team members to deliver impressive services to our guest.

You will be a charismatic and talented professional who has an eye for detail and only the highest standards, with Highly effective skills in communication and relationship building. The ability to track competitor trends and conduct Operations analysis and you will have energy, drive and determination.

Potentially, we are seeking candidates who may additionally have a sales background, where our resort may commence its own sales and marketing drive.

Package:

A competitive Salary in USD is offered Tax Free, which is negotiable depending of experience. 

Medical insurance and free ticket  to your passport country once a year.

  Minimum contract of 2 years.
