OPENING GENERAL MANAGER SPECIALIST

BEIJING - SALARY $75k, depending on experience

We are looking for a pre-opening Hotel Manager. For a 5* hotel project within the Conference and business MARKET in Beijing , China , with 246 keys, opening June 2008, start . They have another hotel opening of 1000 keys, where the construction starts after 2008 Olympic games. The larger project may go to international chain, depends on our performance and the owners views, which are at the moment not yet clear. The Profile we seek is as follows;:

Position: Pre-opening Manger, with potential to continue the operation after the opening Experience: Pre-opening, General Management

Motivation: To work above average hours (due to tight schedule)

Salary base: Total max 75 K per year (incl. bonus etc)

Paid vacation: 3 weeks at the end of the contract (not during the contract period)

Contract Duration: Confirmed opening + 3 month (approx 2 years)

Languages: English, Mandarin would be advantage

Nationality: preferred : Swiss, German, English,

Responsibilities: Full pre-opening planning, concept development, pre-opening operation, staff hiring

Reports: MD of RPF-Group

Co-ordinates: With local owners, local authorities, designer and construction team       

Procurement: Will be most likely handled by RPF-Group directly.        

This is not a big project, I have to be careful on whom we hire. Salary, accommodation, traveling and per diem for food and laundry and other fringe fixed benefits,

Employer would be most probably my UK company; salaries will be paid offshore (details to be advised).
