TRAINING MANAGER

KUWAIT - SALARY $18k

We are looking for an exceptional European person who wants to join the pre-opening team this new open hotel opening as soon as possible. He/She will be responsible for the Training and Development of all staff members of the new Hotel & Suites in Kuwait .

Conveniently located in Fahaheel area, close to the major Oil & Gas companies of the State of Kuwait, the Hotel is part a large hotel Just 20 minutes away from the Kuwait International Airport, 25 minutes away from Kuwait City Centre and the Major Exhibition Ground and 45 minutes away from the Saudi Border.

The hotel has a wide variety of rooms, all furnished to a high standard, that can accommodate both the business traveller as well as leisure in a selection of rooms and apartments. There is also a café and restaurant dining facilities in addition to a pool side food operation and 24 hour room service. With extensive banquet and conferencing facilities that can accommodate up to 250 people in 3 areas with well appointed recreational facilities such as roof terrace pool and Jacuzzi suite.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

•  Three years managerial experience in a professional training environment with expertise in instructional methods and training techniques including, needs analysis, learning theory, group and individual training techniques and training evaluation

•  A minimum of one  year experience in the hospitality field preferred

•  Superior customer service, interpersonal, team building, conflict resolution and communication (written and oral) skills.

•  Excellent platform/presentation skills.

•  Expert ability to conduct and follow structured training programs such as train-the-trainer, employee orientation and other technical and non-technical skills training programs.

•  Experience working with all levels of employees in a diverse environment.

•  Proven organizational and problem solving skills.

•  Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
