Restaurant head Chef, (HOTEL EXECUTIVE SOUS CHEF), SAUDI ARABIA

Salary Scale $33,000 to $42,000 (Experience dependent), plus benefits)

THE RESTAURANT has a capacity of 88 diners and every aspect has been designed to reflect the unique nature of its location.

Since opening The restaurant has become - quite literally – an internationally renowned venue, recognized throughout the world as one of the most innovative and exciting entertainment and dining experiences.
 
Attracting highly sophisticated guests with huge expectations and requirements, the Restaurant aspires to deliver an elevated art of personal service never before achieved in Saudi Arabia . Perfectly suited to the discerning business traveller, the restaurant provides a culinary venue to rival anything in the Middle East .

We seek an experienced Restaurant Head Chef ( hotel Ex Sous Chef), with excellent culinary skills and superb European or Asian experience who can follow through an every changing menu.

We are presently seeking a sophisticated, charismatic  chef who can take on the restaurant, grow and develop the concepts reputation and report directly into the hotels Executive Chef. The desired candidate will be able to concentrate on operational standards and will be someone who will achieve high standards and restaurant profitability, they will be able to control operational costs and achieving good margins.

You should have experienced gained in a similar position, with a similar sized team, in a similar five star property, or Michelin or award winning restaurant and you will have an excellent track record and references.

As a sous chef, ( or restaurant Head Chef), you must have excellent leadership skills, fantastic management and people skills, who will work well under pressure able to communicate with Guests and staff of mixed cultures and nationalities alike to achieve an ultra 5 star standard.

Your team of 13 mostly have an Asian background and the restaurant has acquired its reputation for International Cuisine, with French and Mediterranean influences.
