Our client is a luxurious Business City hotel in the heart of Saudi Arabia seeking an experienced Executive Chef, who will take on the responsibilities of managing the hotel Kitchens of two hotels, the main hotel with 8 destination Restaurants, 224 rooms and the largest Banqueting facility catering for over 4000 in different rooms and additionally having outside catering and additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the standards and kitchen Management of a sister property in the same city consisting of 187 rooms, banqueting for over a 1000 and 4 destination restaurants.
Your task will be to work your team and liaising with the Hotel Managers, F&B Managers and Executive Pastry Chef for all Pastry and Bakery issues, outlet Chef de cuisines on all relevant issues, to ensure all daily operational issues are understood and that standards are met and additionally, attend all relevant meetings, hold daily, weekly and monthly meetings, and liaising with the Chief Steward re cleanliness, equipment requirements. In summary you will be responsible for menu writing, stock control, wastage, staff training and all cost control issues which effect each kitchen.
• Should be experienced in western Cuisine
• Should have worked in 5 star hotels or resorts
• Should be experience in ala cart restaurant fine dining
• Should be experience in volume quality Banqueting
• Should have worked in the Middle East (preferable)
• Should have worked with a multi racial brigade
• Should be up to date with all current trends
• Need to be able to train and follow trough
• Need to be able to lead a very large brigade of chefs
• Computer literate
• Should be between 32 to 45 years of age
• Should be at present in a Head chef or Executive Chef Position
• Has to have an outgoing personality
Offering A competitive salary upto $ 66,000 per year on a two year contract, 30 calendar days Holiday ,
