GENERAL MANAGER

SRI LANKA - 50-60k DEPENDING UPON EXPERIENCE

We have been asked to identify potential NEW General Managers ( probably first time or relatively untested, someone who can grow and develop, innovative and ), for this unique boutique resort group which manages one of the most luxurious hotels in Sri Lanka, to join their fun, but yet hard working and dynamic team.

This GM candidate would have past experience as a senior manager in luxury resorts or hotels, ideally from a sales and marketing background. This individual will be young, probably looking for their first experience as General Manager. What they may lack in experience as General Manager, they will make up through innovative approach to hotel/resort operations.

Your experience in Sales and Marketing, will help maintain and enhance the sales since a room occupancy increase is very much desired. You must have exceptional leadership skills and be able to deliver the essential professional standards that are expected with this outstanding resort group.

You will ensure that the guests receive impeccable service, meeting their expectations, if not exceeding them. Also, you must be an excellent communicator, in order to maintain develop relationships with tour operators.

You will be given the freedom to make changes to succeed, but will be expected to achieve the set goals.

The stunning resort is located on the Southern coast of Sri Lanka . The resort has a natural modern design With just over 40 'naturally modern' guest rooms with state-of-the-art entertainment systems with plasma screens, and additionally a wonderful health spa which allows each guest to experience signature treatments and the ancient South Asian healing.

Have in-depth understanding of sales and can be responsible for the achievement of sales budgets.

Highly committed and results orientated, exemplary management and coordination skills.

Demonstrate strong commitment to exceptional service delivery.

Highly effective communication skills, including mentoring and coaching

Strong ability and creativity for concept development

Accommodated on the resort, Salary USD Tax Free, Performance Bonus, Medical Insurance, Travel Allowance,

5 weeks holiday p.a., Minimum 2 year contract
